Recent Concrete Projects
Reinforced concrete oil bunds, Horndean. For Star Energy Group we built reinforced concrete bunds (five C35 slabs) beneath live oil pipelines on two oilfield sites. The fire risk meant cold works only, so all reinforcement was cut by cropping rather than grinding. Read the oil bunds case study.
Concrete slab for an outbuilding, Basingstoke. At a listed period property we extended an existing slab by around 50 m² in 200 mm reinforced C30 concrete. With no access for a concrete lorry or pump, every load came in by dumper and was mixed at the slab. Read the Basingstoke slab case study.
