Our Story
Hardrock Groundworks was founded by Jamie Campbell, a seasoned main contractor who has led a variety of construction projects including hospitals, schools, luxury residences, commercial properties and more.
He saw first-hand that the industry was lacking reliable and professional groundworks firms that deliver high standards of work, with health and safety at the forefront.
Hardrock Groundworks was born with the aim of setting a new bar in the industry. A premium groundworks firm providing exceptional services where every construction project has the best possible start, ahead of schedule and with a culture of professionalism in every step of the project.
We proudly serve Surrey, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
Our Director
Jamie Campbell spent 15 years in main contracting after starting his career in groundworks. In his time as head of site, he managed the construction of several schools, hospitals, blocks of flats, offices and several large-scale luxury residential properties.
He holds a degree in English and Law, a Master's in Construction Senior Management and many vocational qualifications including CSCS Black Card and CPCS operator certifications. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders.
Moving from groundworks into main contracting and now returning, Campbell believes that if well-managed and high-quality work goes into the ground, a building contract has the best possible chance of success from the start.
Our Promise
Hardrock Groundworks approaches every job as a complete project. This means advanced planning that works in tandem with the main contract programme and an attention to detail that reduces costs, preempts issues and increases efficiency.
Our team is equipped with CSCS Black Cards, SMSTS, First Aid and MCIOB managers on site. Therefore, we can take on projects as principal contractor or seamlessly fit in with your existing programme.
Whatever role we play, we will take on a site, manage the difficult job of bringing your project out of the ground, and offer back a high quality, well set up and tidy facility that you can step into and complete. Let us do the dirty work.
